Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant in Tokyo.

This marvelous ministry of madness is the
Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant in Tokyo.

Someone somewhere needs to do a full ranged,
cross platformed, balls to the wall, video game
themed restaurant. Master Chief as the
maitre d. Mario and Luigi in the Kitchen.
Advent children plays in the men’s room,
which looks like a scene from Bioshock.

“I’ll have the Soulcalibur Salmon please.
Soul Edge on the side.”

“And you ma’am?”

“I can’t decide between the Invincibility Code Club
or the Pokemon Emerald Cobb?”

“The Emerald is one of our specialties ma’am.”

Alice in Wonderland

Libico Maraja (1912-1983)
was one of Italy's top post-War illustrators.
Born in Bellinzona, Svizzera, Maraja studied in
Lugano and began his career working for the Ala studios.
In 1940, he moved to Berlin, where he cooperated with
IMA Film, among others of the animated film 'La Rosa di Bagdad'.
After the war, he became wellknown for his book illustrations
for 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', 'Pinocchio',
'Peter Pan', and many other classics.
Between 1946 and 1949, he had a brief appearance
in comics, when he made stories like 'La Quercia Maledetta'
('Dottor Faust') and 'Un mondo in un albero' with
Federico Pedrocchi for Topolino (Mondadori).

Nicoletta has illustrated many books,
mainly in Italy, in the USA and in the UK.

Her work has been exhibited at the Bologna
Children’s Book fair seven times.
She has also shown her work among the
others in ‘Roq la Rue’ (Seattle),
’Magic Pony’(Toronto), ’Dorothy Circus’(Rome),
Richard Goodall Gallery(Manchester).

In 2001,Nicoletta was awarded with
the Andersen prize as best
Italian illustrator of the year.
